Olympics inspires not only the sports persons but everybody in the world to excel in their own fields. The way it inspired me to Design one of its Kind Necklace in the world. I have used live fire, because fire is immortal, and it has been an important part of many culture & religions, even the inauguration of the Olympics is done by lighting the sacred fire & relayed throughout the world.

Dragon is mostly related to China, hence I have used Dragon & I have used Diamonds Emeralds & Orange Sapphires, the look of our Tri-colour which reflects of the Indian sports person participation in the Olympics.

Material Used

  1. Diamonds
  2. Emeralds
  3. Orange Sapphires
  4. Hand painting on Canvas
  5. Butane Gas
  6. Gold, (14kt.)
  7. Platinum (so that it should withstand heat & keep the Jewel cool)

Through this Design I have tried to capture the natural beauty of the Islands underwater marine life that amazes the viewers with a play of colour and underwater antics which unfolds another world in itself.

Material Used

  • Acrylic
  • Tahiti Pearls
  • 18kt. White Gold
  • Rubies
  • Pink Sapphires
  • Diamonds
  • Rough Diamonds
  • Colour Stone

“I was scuba diving in the lagoons of Lakshadweep island. The unsoiled sea bed was a vision I couldn’t forget with its corals, colourful fishes and other marine fauna. My designer genes went on an overdrive and I wanted to reproduce & recapture its beauty”.

I carved the seabed out of a block of acrylic. I didn’t however use real corals, as they’re important to marine eco system. Instead, I used black and rough diamonds, Tahitian pearls and other coloured stones. The clasp of the necklace is in the shape of an octopus and I used rubies, as its belly is pink,”

The  main design element is shaped like the southern tip of India.

“This piece and its diamonds will not glitter without these fish.

They are my true gems in it. I don’t intend to reap in profits with it. It’s just a tribute to the disintegrating oceans and seas of the world and a way of showing my love for nature.”
