PC Jeweller Ltd commence operations in 2005, with its first showroom in Karol Bagh, New Delhi.. The company has steadily grown over the years and closed the FY 2016-17 with a total of 75 stores spread over 18 states of the country and till July 2017 total number of stores is 79. It also crossed the magic figure of a billion dollar turnover in the tenth year of its existence. The company also achieved another mile stone when it went public and got listed in its seventh year only. Today PCJ has a market cap of more than a billion dollars and is one of the few listed jewellery companies in India.

PC Jeweller is engaged in the business of manufacture, retail and export of jewellery. The company offers a variety of products including 100% hallmarked gold jewellery, certified diamond jewellery and other jewellery, including silver articles, with a focus on diamond jewellery and bridal jewellery. The company also has presence in the branded jewellery segment throughFlexia, a unique detachable jewellery collection catering to youngsters, working women and young couples and ‘Azva’offering high-end wedding jewellery.

PC Jeweller operates five manufacturing plants that are located across Noida, Noida (SEZ) and Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The company has an in- house team of over 60 designers who create new patterns and designs on a regular basis based on domestic and international design trends.

Apart from its domestic operations, PC Jeweller is also engaged in export of handmade designer gold on a B2B basis. The company has plans to increase its product offerings in the international market as well.

The company which was earlier opening its showrooms only at the high street locations of a city is now also opening its outlets at smaller markets to target middle class and lower middle customers. Company has also started the concept of Lounges at some of its selected stores for its HNI customers. Company has now a well-established brand name as well as tested systems & procedures. It has accordingly also started expanding by creating a Franchisee Vertical. Expanding through giving franchisees is a very cost effective method of growth and provides a good boost to the margins.

The company started its own online portal www.wearyourshine.com almost three years back to keep abreast of this changing consumer buying behaviour as well as to be able to cater to totally new customer segment.

PCJ is therefore now catering to a diverse range of customers including; ultra-rich, rich & upper middle class, youngsters/young couples & working women, and middle & lower middle class.
